Stefano Sensi is likely to start in this weekend’s Serie A match at home to Atalanta according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 24-year-old will be starting for the first time since the beginning of October if manager Antonio Conte gives him the nod.
Marcelo Brozovic will almost certainly be starting but it is between Sensi, Matias Vecino and Roberto Gagliardini for the remaining two spots in the Inter midfield. The report goes on to state that Sensi and Vecino are the two most likely to start.
Due to Milan Skriniar having to serve an automatic one match suspension after receiving a booking in Monday night’s 3-1 win over Napoli, Diego Godin will come back into the line-up having spent the past few weeks on the substitutes bench.
The report from the Milanese newspaper goes on to add that Antonio Candreva and Cristiano Biraghi will both retain their places at wing back.
