During his pre-match press conference this afternoon ahead of tomorrow’s Serie A match away to Cagliari, AC Milan manager refused to comment on speculation linking the club with a move for Inter’s Matteo Politano.
“I am not talking about players who are not at AC Milan,” he told the gathered media.
The Rossoneri, as per reports, have sparked an interest in signing Politano from their city rivals in the past few days with a possible swap deal between the clubs mentioned a lot across the media.
Inter were reportedly offered to decide between one of Franck Kessie and Ricardo Rodriguez to receive as part of the swap deal but many reports have suggested Inter have no interest in either player.
One player Inter seemingly do have an interest in however is Krzysztof Piątek but it is understood that the Polish international does not wish to join Inter and sit on the bench.
If a swap deal does not take place, AC Milan could try and sign former Sassuolo man Politano outright but it will cost them between €20-25 million.
