AC Milan are now considering a permanent move for Inter’s Matteo Politano after talks over a possible swap deal failed to take off according to a report from Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio during his show Calcio Mercato L’Originale.
The Rossoneri are understood to have offered midfielder Franck Kessie in the hope that he would be enough to convince Inter into agreeing to send Politano in the opposite direction but it will not happen.
The report goes on to explain that both Napoli and Fiorentina are keen on signing Politano too during this month.
Politano has really struggled for regular playing time this season with just two of his 14 appearances across all competitions coming as a starter.
The 26-year-old winger joined Inter from Sassuolo on a permanent basis this past Summer after a fairly successful loan spell and Inter, as per other reports, are understood to want around €20 million to part ways with him.
