Christian Eriksen’s agent Martin Schoots is in Milan and could meet with Inter management tomorrow to discuss a potential move according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
Eriksen has emerged as a transfer target for Inter in recent weeks and Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is already understood to have drafted up a generous contract offer for the 27-year-old.
Marotta is prepared to put a four year contract with an annual salary of no less than €10 million on the table for Eriksen, whose contract with Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur is due to expire at the end of this season.
Inter hope that in offering this to the former Ajax man, they will be able to beat all the competition they face for his signature with Real Madrid, Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain and Juventus all linked with him in recent weeks.
This season Eriksen has made 24 appearances across all competitions. In 1386 minutes, he has scored three goals and tallied just as many assists.
