In an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb, Crescenzo Cecere, one of Inter goalkeeper Ionut Radu’s representatives, has shared his disappointment at Genoa’s decision to bring in Mattia Perin.

“We are disappointed by Genoa who have not respected all that he has done for them both last year, when he had a great season, and this year too when he has been decisive in many games,” he began.

“Genoa’s league position is certainly not down to Radu, in order to win games you have to score goals. We respect Genoa’s decision but the way they have went about it shows a lack of respect for the player.

“There have been five managers since he has been there but it has now been decided Perin is the starter, therefore Radu will continue to grow elsewhere.

“Several clubs both in Italy and abroad have been in contact because he is one of the best goalkeepers out there this transfer window but we are committed to the Inter project.”

Cecere went on to conclude: “The club itself has no intention of losing Radu and the fairest thing today would be for him to go back to the Nerazzurri as there is no point in staying with Genoa.”
