Inter have knocked back an offer from West Ham United for Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
The Premier League side made an offer to take Gabigol on loan for 18 months with an option to buy of around €20 million attached but Inter sent the offer right back to them due to wanting to sell Gabigol outright and do so as soon as possible.
This is because Inter are hoping to use money raised through his sale to help them get deals for their transfer targets such as Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal done.
The report goes on to state that Gabigol is most likely to end up at Brazilian side Flamengo, where he spent last year on loan.
In 58 appearances across all competitions, the 23-year-old striker netted 43 goals and tallied 13 assists for the Rio de Janeiro based club and helped them win the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Copa Libertadores.
