Napoli have come back in for Matteo Politano and are trying their utmost to convince Inter let them sign him on a loan with option to buy basis according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.
The Partenopei are working quickly in the hope they will be able to beat AC Milan, who have also been linked, to his signature.
Politano has found himself fall down the pecking order at Inter this season having been limited to just two starts all season and 14 appearances overall for a total of 305 minutes on the field.
Other reports in the media have suggested Inter are against the idea of loaning out the 26-year-old, who they signed on a permanent basis for around €25 million this past Summer off the back of a successful loan during the 2018/19 season.
The Nerazzurri would prefer to sell the former Sassuolo man immediately in order to raise funds that would help them acquire their transfer targets this month.
