Inter and Juventus are set to continue their fight for Fiorentina talisman Federico Chiesa, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how the Nerazzurri have been interested in the 22-year-old Italian forward since last forward. Rumours suggested that Chiesa was close to joining the Bianconeri last summer but decided to remain with the Viola due to the take-over by Italian American businessman Rocco Commisso.
The player is estimated to be valued at around €60-70 million, a high fee but considering his potential and current level, not an absurd figure.
Another Fiorentina starlet that the two clubs are set to fight over is Italian midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli, the report highlights.
The Nerazzurri have already made clear moves for the player but were rebuffed by the Florence based club, whilst Juventus only inquired about him. The 22-year-old recently signed a new contract with the Viola, tying him to the club until 2024.
