Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio is working to reduce the gap between themselves and Tottenham Hotspur in negotiations over Christian Eriksen whilst in London according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
Spurs continue to demand €20 million for the 27-year-old Danish playmaker but Inter have so far only offer a sum of €10 million.
Eriksen has already agreed personal terms over a move to Inter and it now remains to be seen if the distance in the talks can be reduced and a deal reached by the end of this transfer window.
Despite already seemingly bringing in his replacement in Gedson Fernandes, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is continuing to hold firm on his asking price for Eriksen, who is out of contract at the end of this season.
The report goes on to state that Inter have reached an agreement in principle with Chelsea over the transfer of Olivier Giroud, who, like Eriksen, has already agreed terms with Inter.
