In an interview with Italian radio station Radio Punto Nuovo, the agent of Cristiano Biraghi, Mario Giuffredi, has denied the possibility of his client leaving Inter this month.

Inter are working to bring in Roma’s Leonardo Spinazzola and Manchester United’s Ashley Young, both of whom play at left full/wing back, the position Biraghi plays. As a result, there has been some speculation in the media that the 27-year-old could move on.

“Biraghi is the undisputed starter, he plays in all of the matches for Inter who are second only to Juventus in the league table. He will not leave,” Giuffredi insisted during the interview.

Biraghi joined Inter this past Summer from Fiorentina in a season long loan with option to buy deal and has since went on to play 18 times across all competitions. In just shy of 1200 minutes on the park, the Italian international has provided three assists for his teammates.
