Ex Inter Player Antonio Paganin: “The Whole Team Is Benefiting From Lukaku’s Play”

Former Inter player Antonio Paganin has sang the praises of Inter striker Romelu Lukaku after he took his tally for the season to 18 with a brace against Cagliari on Tuesday night.

“Lukaku is a player who is playing very well alongside Lautaro Martinez and the whole team is benefiting from it. He knows how to work outside the penalty box and he is very quick,” Paganin told Italian radio station Radio Sportiva.

Next he spoke generally on how Inter have performed as of late and the transfer market.

“Inter are doing well at the moment and the results are there for all to see. I am curious to see what will happen in the transfer market because the gap between Inter and Juventus could well be completely closed.”

He then shared his thoughts on the swap deal between Inter and Roma involving Matteo Politano and Leonardo Spinazzola, a deal which looks set to be complete very shortly.

“Inter are gaining from this deal. They are bringing in a player in Spinazzola who has a lot of versatility.”

In conclusion he spoke on the performances of Andrea Ranocchia and Federico Dimarco as the duo were given a rare chance to impress in the 4-1 win on Tuesday.

“They did very well and Conte is proud of them. It is not easy for Inter to rotate the team much because they have to keep up with Juventus and Lazio.”
