Paolo De Ceglie has shared his views on the race for the Serie A title this season, a race which has been far closer than many expected it to be before the season began.

At the half way point of the 2019/20 season, Juventus lead the way at the top of the table having amassed 48 points from a possible 57 available to them.

Antonio Conte’s Inter are hot on their heels however and sit two points behind them in second place on 46 points. Lazio are in third on 42 points and also have a game in hand meaning things could get even tighter.

“I was expecting Inter to be up there but not Lazio. The Biancocelesti have picked up a lot of points and can certainly be considered as one of the candidates to win the title. I honestly though we would have seen Napoli up there battling it out for the title too,” he remarked in an interview with TuttoJuve.com.
