Italian Report Claims Sensi Will Lose Place In Inter Team To Make Way For Eriksen

Stefano Sensi will be the one who suffers most from Christian Eriksen’s likely arrival at Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of La Repubblica.

The 24-year-old will lose a regular starting spot in the team to make way for the Danish international, who Inter are trying their utmost to bring in during this transfer window.

Eriksen, if he arrives, will be deployed in Antonio Conte’s midfield alongside Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella, two players who have shown themselves as essential to Conte’s game.

Inter and Spurs are in talks over Eriksen, with Spurs are said to be demanding €20 million for him. Inter, as per various reports, have already agreed terms with the player himself.

The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to state that Matias Vecino looks set to leave Inter this month. The Nerazzurri club are trying to find a new club for the Uruguayan international and have offered him out to a host of Premier League clubs as well as Lazio.
