Radja Nainggolan has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to thank Inter fans after coming up against his parent club in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday night.

The Belgian joined Cagliari on a season long loan for a multitude of reasons this past Summer and he and his Rossoblu teammates were well beaten 4-1 by Antonio Conte’s Inter at San Siro.

The 31-year-old midfielder has made 19 appearances since returning to the Sardinian club in which he has scored four goals and tallied five assists.

“Thanks to the Inter supporters,” he posted.
