Inter Working To Bring Eriksen In Immediately After Brozovic Injury

Marcelo Brozovic’s injury has forced Inter to change their strategy for signing Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta was hopeful of waiting until closer to the end of the window before signing Eriksen in the hope that Spurs would drop their demands but Brozovic’s injury means Inter will need to move quicker to sign the Danish international.

The report goes on to explain that Inter and Spurs should do a deal over Eriksen worth €18 million in total and Inter are working to bring the 27-year-old midfielder to the club immediately.

As per various reports that have done the rounds in the media in recent days and weeks, Inter already have an agreement in principle with Eriksen over personal terms.

Former Ajax player Eriksen is expected to sign a four year deal and will earn somewhere between €7.5-10 million net a season going by the reports.
