In an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia on the sidelines of an event, Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta spoke on how it feels to work for Inter.

“I am proud to represent Inter, who are one of three clubs in Serie A who have never been relegated. This must drive us for the future. We must aim higher.”

Next he spoke on the transfer market and Inter’s plans from here until the end of the window in little over a week’s time.

“We will try to improve a team, which is already full of great quality. As I have said several times, the winter window is made up of few opportunities.”

He was then asked if he thinks Antonio Conte’s side can go all the way and win the Serie A title this season and end arch-rivals Juventus’ dominance.

“We must believe that it is possible, we are not here to make up the numbers. Of course, there are some fierce opponents, but there are still 18 games left to play and many points available. We will try our best.”
