Valentino Lazaro’s agent Max Hagmayr has confirmed he has had talks with Newcastle United and admitted they are not the only club in for his client.

“Yesterday [Sunday] I was in Newcastle, we talked, but we still have not reached an agreement. What does the future hold for Lazaro? We will see what happens in the coming days. There is not only the English club that are interested, there are also other options,” he revealed in an interview with FCInter1908.it.

Lazaro joined Inter back in the Summer transfer window from Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin but has failed to cement a place in the Inter starting line-up, despite showing some glimpses of potential in his limited time on the pitch.

The 23-year-old Austrian international defender has made 11 appearances across all competitions to date, just four of which have come as a starter. In 513 minutes on the field, the former Red Bull Salzburg man has provided two assists for teammates.
