Inter Owned Perisic On Bayern Munich Loan Spell: “Everything Is Going Well, We’ll See What Happens”

Ivan Perisic has shared his delight with how things are going for him whilst out on loan at Bundesliga club Bayern Munich from Inter this season.

“So far everything is going well in Munich, both from a personal and sporting point of view. I just go step by step, day by day,” the Croatian international winger told German newspaper Abendzeitung.

He was then asked about potentially staying with the reigning German champions past the end of this season.

“We will see what happens. 30 years old is not old! I am fine. My plan is to play for at least another seven or eight years.”

The 30-year-old attacker has made 20 appearances across all competitions since his arrival at the Bavaria based club.

In 1043 minutes on the park, the former Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund player, has contributed five goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.

Reports in the media in recent days have suggested that despite his performances, Bayern are not entirely sold on the idea of taking up their option to sign Perisic on a permanent basis.
