Young Could Make Inter Debut At Right Wing Back This Weekend

Ashley Young could make his Inter debut in this weekend’s Serie A match at home to Cagliari according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Young joined Inter on Friday from Manchester United but was not part of the squad that travelled south for the 1-1 draw with Lecce.

He has been in training and will train alongside his new teammates for the second time today and due to injuries and suspensions, he could be given a start against the Rossoblu.

Antonio Candreva is suspended whilst Danilo D’Ambrosio is not yet in top condition therefore Young could be deployed at right wing back.

The 34-year-old Englishman was primarily deployed on the left hand side at Manchester United but was on occasion played out on the right meaning he does at least have some experience to rely on if he is played out on the right on Sunday.
