Ashley Young could be handed his Inter debut this weekend when Inter take on Cagliari according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Antonio Candreva is suspended for the match against the Rossoblu and whilst Danilo D’Ambrosio has recovered from his injury, he is not in top condition.

For this reason, Inter manager Antonio Conte could call upon new recruit Young to fill in at right wing back, even if he was primarily brought in to help out at left wing back.

Young is however no stranger to playing on the right hand side having done so on many occasions for Manchester United, who he played every position barring goalkeeper for during his eight and a half years with the club.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that Conte could well opt to deploy Victor Moses instead but due to recent injury problems and the fact he has not played in a few months, it is unlikely this will happen.
