In an interview with Italian newspaper Il Giorno, former Inter owner and president Massimo Moratti has spoken on the possibility of Inter winning the Serie A title come the end of this season.

“Is this year a good year for Inter to win the Serie A title? The team is there and the right coach is as well. I am expecting a second half of the season full of emotions and I am dreaming about what all the other Nerazzurri fans are dreaming about,” he explained.

Moratti then went on to heap praise upon Inter manager Antonio Conte, who has greatly improved several players and has Inter really challenging for the title.

“Antonio Conte is a really good manager. He knows how to reinvigorate all the players and he puts his heart and soul into the work he does.”

As things stand, Inter currently sit in second place in the Serie A table, four points adrift of league leaders and arch rivals Juventus.
