Inter are confident that they have done everything they can to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
Eriksen met with Spurs’ chairman Daniel Levy yesterday and reiterated his desire to leave the north London club immediately in order to join Inter.
Tomorrow or Friday, Eriksen’s agent Martin Schoots will meet with Spurs management once more for further talks as he looks to get his client his move to Inter.
Spurs’ €20 million demands for the 27-year-old Danish international are well documented about but as per plenty other reports in the media, Inter have not met the demands due to being confident they can convince Spurs to let him go for a little less.
The report from Sky Sport Italia concludes that Eriksen is getting closer to completing a move to Inter.
This season Eriksen has been near ever present for Spurs, who he joined back in 2013. In 27 appearances across all competitions to date, he has scored three goals and provided three assists too.
