Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is currently in Milan to try and get a deal done for Inter winger Matteo Politano according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.
Napoli have offered Inter €2 million to take Politano on loan for the remainder of the 2019/20 season and have attached an obligation to buy Politano at the end of the loan move for €18 million to the offer.
The Azzurri club are competing with Roma for the player’s signature but unlike the Giallorossi, Napoli are yet to reach any form of agreement over personal terms with the former Sassuolo player, who, as per other reports, is keen on a move to the Stadio San Paolo.
26-year-old Politano has found playing time limited this season at Inter having been limited to just two starts across all competitions. He has made 15 appearances in total but has been unable to make any goal contributions during his time on the park.
