Inter have booked Christian Eriksen’s medical with them for Monday according to a report from British newspaper The Evening Standard.

The Nerazzurri club have struck a deal in principle with Tottenham Hotspur over the 27-year-old Danish international and hope to conclude the deal as soon as possible.

Eriksen has already agreed to a four and a half year contract with Inter and Inter hope that he will be able to be in the stands to take in their upcoming Serie A match with Cagliari on Sunday afternoon.

With the deal between the clubs yet to be finalised, Spurs are expecting to have the attacking midfielder available to them for tomorrow’s FA Cup match with Southampton, which could well prove to be the last time he pulls on the shirt of the north London based club.

This season Eriksen has made 28 appearances across all competitions during which he has scored three goals and provided as many assists for his teammates.
