Italian journalist and TeleLombardia director Fabio Ravezzani discussed the transfer of Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen to Inter on Twitter this morning.

The Nerazzurri reached an agreement with Eriksen’s club Tottenham last night, with the Milanese side finally reaching Spurs’ request of €20 million. The player is expected to arrive in Milan on Monday to finalise the deal, an exciting prospect for coach Antonio Conte, who has been searching for midfield reinforcements all month.

Ravezzani said on Twitter: “Eriksen is, regardless, as big a market move for Inter as Emre Can was for Juve. Then it will be necessary to understand his ability to adapt to Italian football. But he is a top player in a top league.”

Eriksen è, a prescindere, un grande colpo di mercato per l’Inter, come lo era stato Emre Can per la Juve. Poi bisognerà capire il suo grado di adattamento al calcio italiano. Ma è un top che gioca in un campionato top.
