Parma are close to closing a deal with Inter for the loan of Ionut Radu for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

As per the report, which appeared on Di Marzio’s eponymous website, Parma are close to completing the signing of the young Romanian international shot-stopper.

Due to number one Luigi Sepe’s recent injury, the Ducali club have had to move quick to find a replacement for him and Radu looks set to join them.

Radu joined Genoa on a season long loan this past Summer but has lost his place in the team in recent weeks to Mattia Perin, who Genoa brought in in a bid to change their fortunes.

This season the 22-year-old has made 19 appearances across all competitions. He has conceded 37 goals in 1740 minutes on the park and managed to keep two clean sheets too.
