Inter might not go after another striker before the January transfer window slams shut in the coming days according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset journalist Marco Barzaghi.

Inter have drawn strong links with Napoli’s Fernando Llorente and Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud in recent weeks and as per Barzaghi, who took to social media platform Twitter to break the news, whether Inter go for another striker or not will depend on how Alexis Sanchez performs tomorrow.

Sanchez is widely expected to start in Inter’s Coppa Italia quarter final match with Fiorentina at San Siro tomorrow night and if he performs well, it can be presumed that Inter will abandon the idea of signing another striker.
