Inter are in negotiations with Leicester City over a last minute loan move for Islam Slimani according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

Inter are one of a number of clubs courting the 31-year-old Algerian international striker, who is currently out on loan at Ligue 1 outfit Monaco.

As per the report Monaco have agreed to let Slimani’s loan deal be cut short and Inter are now in negotiations with Leicester City to define how much the loan deal for the rest of the season will cost.

Slimani, who is also understood to have interest from Premier League trio Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, has been in fine form whilst out on loan at Monaco.

In 14 games across all competitions to date this season, the former Sporting player has netted seven goals and provided just as many assists for his teammates at the Stade Louis II club.
