Inter Owned Dalbert’s Agent: “We’ll See What’s Best For Him At A Later Date”

In an interview with FCInterNews.it, Dalbert’s agent, Emerson Figueirdo, has spoken on how things are going for his client out on loan at Fiorentina.

Dalbert, who joined Inter in a circa €20 million deal from Ligue 1 club Nice in the Summer of 2017, failed to cement his place at Inter in either of his two seasons with the club and was shipped out on loan to La Viola for this season.

The Brazilian full back has found playing time far easier to come by since his move to the Stadio Artemio Franchi club and Figueirdo has admitted that he was expecting his client to have done as well as he has in Florence.

“To be honest I was actually very confident that he was going to have a great year. The reason is simple and that reason is he is playing continuously. He works hard every day to play well on every occasion,” he began.

He then proceeded to discuss why he thinks things did not work out as planned for the 26-year-old.

“He is now prepared for any challenge and team. Now he is more mature, he has adapted to Italian football, he is more confident and stronger.”

Next he was asked about what the future could hold for his client, who is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season.

“He is on loan with Fiorentina until the end of the season. We will see at a later date what will be best for him. Right now Dalbert is only thinking about helping Fiorentina to achieve their goals and to continue playing well and have a great season.”
