In today’s print editions, Italy’s three main sports news outlets Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport have all praised Inter wing back Ashley Young for his performance in the team’s 2-1 Coppa Italia quarter final victory over Fiorentina last night.

The 34-year-old Englishman, who recently joined the Nerazzurri from Premier League outfit Manchester United, made his second appearance and put in another solid performance following his debut against Cagliari at the weekend.

Gazzetta dello Sport praised the 39-time England international for the experience he played with and went so far as to suggest he is a quality guarantee for Inter manager Antonio Conte.

Corriere dello Sport have meanwhile praised him for how quickly he has adapted to life in Milan and his crossing ability.

Tuttosport have praised Young for the fact he was brought in to play on the left hand side but has looked a natural on the opposite side and like Corriere dello Sport, they have praised him for his crossing ability.
