Chelsea will not let Olivier Giroud depart the club today according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
The 33-year-old striker has drawn links with moves to Inter, Lazio and Tottenham Hotspur in recent days and weeks but will be going nowhere.
The Blues struggle to recruit a new striker is understood to be the reason behind them not wanting to let the French international go.
Giroud, who has been with the Stamford Bridge club since January 2018, has been limited to just seven appearances across all competitions to date this season. In 282 minutes on the field, the former Arsenal and Montpellier man has scored a single goal.
He has found himself slide right down the pecking order at the club this season and has not made an appearance since November 30 last year. Moreover, he has not made a match day squad in the Premier League for the last nine matches.
