Inter have reignited their interest in signing striker Olivier Giroud from Chelsea according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

The Nerazzurri had shown an extremely keen interest in signing the French international striker earlier on the window but cooled their interest in the past few days upon deciding they no longer wanted to bring in another striker.

Inter have however since had a change of heart and club management are working on trying to bring in another striker before tomorrow night’s transfer deadline with Leciester City’s Islam Slimani also believed to be under consideration.

Inter have today tried to get back in for Giroud, even if a deal for him is very complicated at this stage of the window. The report does however go on to state that it cannot be excluded that Giroud could assist Inter by trying to force a move to the club by not turning up to training tomorrow.
