Inter Have Spent Over €20m In January For The First Time Since January Window In 2010/11 Season

Inter have spent in excess of €20 million in the January transfer window for the first time since the 2010/11 January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Inter started their business by recruiting Ashley Young from Manchester United and spent €1.5 million to bring him in.

The second signing was Victor Moses on a loan with option to buy deal from Chelsea and the Nerazzurri paid the Premier League club €500,000 to loan him.

Inter’s newest recruit Christian Eriksen cost the club €21 million meaning Inter’s total spending this window totals €23 million.

In the 2010/11 window, Inter spent just over €30 million as they brought in Andrea Ranocchia and Giampaolo Pazzini and Inter could well surpass that amount today with the report stating Inter are not completely done on the market yet.

The Nerazzurri are looking to bring in another striker to bolster the attack with Olivier Giroud, Fernando Llorente and Islam Slimani all linked.
