Inter centre back Diego Godin has taken to photo sharing social media to share his delight at Inter’s progression in the Coppa Italia following their 2-1 quarter final victory over fellow Serie A side Fiorentina at San Siro on Wednesday night.

The highly experienced Uruguayan international defender, who joined the club on a free transfer this past Summer, made his 21st appearance of the season across all competitions.

In 1545 minutes on the field, the former Atletico Madrid player has contributed no goals but has provided a single assist and help the team keep several clean sheets.

“To the semis,” he posted.
