Christian Eriksen Could Make First Inter Start Against Udinese Tomorrow

New arrival Christian Eriksen is set to start for Inter in their league clash against Udinese tomorrow, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how coach Antonio Conte still has limited options in the midfield, due to multiple injured players in the department. Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has started to recover from his left ankle sprain and even trained partly with his teammates on both Thursday and Friday. However, his physical condition is still not perfect and so Conte may choose not to start the 27-year-old. In his place, former Tottenham midfielder Eriksen could make his first league start.

Stefano Sensi is still suffering from a left calf injury, the report continues, and Borja Valero has some muscle pain that’s forced him to train separately. Neither player will be called up for tomorrow evening’s game and the club are hoping at least one of the duo will be fit for the derby against Milan.
