Inter have already identified some potential targets ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Napoli’s Dries Mertens is understood to be under consideration by the Nerazzurri club due to his expiring contract status.

The 32-year-old is out of contract with Napoli come the end of this season and as a result, he can be signed on a free transfer. The former PSV Eindhoven attacker could well be Inter’s replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who is to return to Manchester United at the end of his loan spell.

Inter are also taking a look at Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla but as per other reports doing the rounds in the media, they are far from being alone in being interested in the 19-year-old Albanian international.

The report from Tuttosport goes on to add that Fiorentina midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli is also on Inter’s wishlist.
