Fiorentina president and owner Rocco Commisso has reached out to several other club presidents as he seeks allies to carry out the business he has in mind which includes getting a fairer distribution of television rights money according to a report in today’s print edition of La Nazione.
Commisso’s right hand man Joe Barone has been in talks with Inter president Steven Zhang for a few months now and the pair have exchanged ideas with one another but for the time being the report states, Inter have not gotten fully on board due to Zhang’s involvement on the board of the European Club Association.
The report from the Florence based newspaper does however go on to state that Inter’s stance could well change in the future.
It also goes on to add that the likes of AC Milan, Roma, Bologna, Lazio, Genoa, Sampdoria and Parma could all get on board with the plans of Commisso, who has been the owner of Fiorentina since last Summer.
