Inter manager Antonio Conte is understood to be as yet undecided about whether to deploy Christian Eriksen or Nicolo Barella from the start of tonight’s top of the table clash away to Lazio according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.

Some reports in the lead up to the game have suggested that Matias Vecino would be dropped but that will not be the case with Conte wishing to deploy the Uruguayan in order to take care of Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

With Eriksen’s unpredictability, Conte could opt for him over Barella, who has been one of Inter’s best performers over the course of this season but at the same time, Barella is far more aware of Conte’s game plan and the tasks he has to carry out in the team, unlike Eriksen, who has not even been with the club for a month yet.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to add that Daniele Padelli will also continue in between the sticks for Inter and Samir Handanovic, who is nearing recovery, will start from the bench.
