Inter Manager Conte Likely To Make Many Changes For Ludogorets Match

Inter manager Antonio Conte is likely to make some rotations to the team for Thursday night’s Europa League round of 32 first leg clash away to Ludogorets according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Danilo D’Ambrosio could come into the line-up and take over from one of the three central defenders that started in the 2-1 loss to Lazio this past weekend in Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij and Diego Godin.

Wing backs Antonio Candreva and Ashley Young will both drop out of the side and be replaced by Victor Moses and Cristiano Biraghi respectively.

Conte will in all likelihood start Marcelo Brozovic but he does not want the Croatian midfield maestro to play the entire game at the Ludogorets Arena, in Razgrad, Bulgaria.

The report goes on to add that Romelu Lukaku may well be given a rare chance to rest thus meaning Lautaro Martinez will have a new partner up top, if Conte sticks with the 3-5-2 system.

One position that will not be seeing any change is goalkeeper. Daniele Padelli will carry on deputising for the injured Samir Handanovic in what could be the last game without Handanovic available.

Handanovic has been dealing with a hairline fracture to the small finger in his left hand and could return for Inter’s next league game against Sampdoria, failing that, he will return for the second leg against Ludogorets.
