Inter Owned Striker Mauro Icardi Must Give Ok Before Move To Paris Saint Germain Could Be Finalised

Inter owned striker Mauro Icardi still holds the power if he wants to return to Milan this summer, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews today.

The report details how the 26-year-old Argentine striker has a clause in his contract that means his move to French side Paris Saint Germain cannot be finalised unless given the approval of Icardi and his wife/agent, Wanda Nara. This means that, even if the Ligue 1 giants activate the €70 million buy option, his move won’t be completed unless he gives the ok.

Inter aren’t keen for Icardi to return, the report continues, despite the fact that his contract expires there in 2022. Even with the possible departure of Lautaro Martinez in the summer, the Nerazzurri would still prefer to sell the Argentine rather than re-work him into the squad. Juventus are still interested but haven’t made a concrete offer yet, with Chelsea and Real Madrid both simply asking for information.
