The report details how the former Spurs midfielder worked very well as a trequartista in both the 3-4-1-2 and then in the 4-3-1-2 formations. The player made six shots against Ludogorets, scoring after an assist from Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku. He also hit the crossbar. The player overall impressed and showed why Conte was keen on signing him last month.

The 50-year-old Italian knows that he needs to change his beloved 3-5-2 in order to fully accommodate Eriksen, the report continues. Conte appreciates that Eriksen’s best position in the Inter set up is the trequartista role, with Conte using both 3-4-1-2 and 4-3-1-2 formations to see which suits the team and the Dane best.
