Lyon President Aulas On Inter Owned Icardi: “He Must Come To Lyon, Last Summer I Had A Meeting With His Agent Wanda Nara”

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has urged Inter owned striker Mauro Icardi to join his club in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

“If he wants to play every week, he must come to Lyon,” he admitted in an interview with Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

He then went on to reveal that he has already in fact had talks with Icardi’s wife and agent Wanda Nara in the past.

“Last summer I said this to his wife. I had a meeting with Wanda Nara and she made an excellent impression as an agent.”

Icardi is currently out on loan at Lyon’s Ligue 1 rivals Paris Saint Germain, who have an option to sign Icardi on a permanent basis for €70 million come the end of the season.

There are currently conflicting reports doing the rounds in the media with regards to PSG’s intentions for Icardi. Some reports have stated they are absolutely certain that they wish to keep him whilst others have suggested they are unsure.

Whilst out on loan at the French capital club, the recently turned 27-year-old has made 28 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored 19 goals and tallied four assists.
