Napoli Submit Offer For Inter Target Sandro Tonali, Declined But New Meeting Set

Inter and Juventus are both fighting for the signature of Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali, but Napoli have reportedly launched an assault for the teenager too, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Naples based newspaper Il Mattino.

The report details how the Naples based club, under the leadership of President Aurelio De Laurentiis, made a €45 million offer to Brescia for the 19-year-old Italian midfielder, who is contracted to the Lombard side until 2021. Brescia declined the offer, as they want to earn at least €80 million from the sale of Tonali, and are hoping for a bidding war between the interested Italian clubs as well as foreign sides like Paris Saint Germain and Atletico Madrid.

Napoli will try again in the coming weeks, the report continues, with a meeting with Brescia being set for April. Napoli are keen to sign the promising youngster as they look to overhaul their squad.
