Inter owned striker Mauro Icardi’s situation at French giants Paris Saint Germain is continuing to become more unstable, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Spanish newspaper AS.
The report details how the 27-year-old Argentine striker, after finding out that he wouldn’t be starting against German side Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League last Tuesday, got incredibly angry and threw chairs, before isolating himself in silence before the team returned to Paris.
He has been surrounded by controversy in the French capital in recent days, the report continues, after videos leaked on social media which showed him and other PSG teammates dancing and singing shirtless at his birthday party whilst drinking alcohol.
The club, despite his strong start to the season in Ligue 1, is seriously considering whether to enact their buy option on the player or not.
Icardi has scored 19 goals and provided four assists in 28 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
