Fiorentina president and owner Rocco Commisso has admitted to being unsure about what the future holds for star man Federico Chiesa.
The highly rated Italian national team winger has long drawn links with moves elsewhere and those rumours are likely to surface once more ahead of and during the upcoming Summer transfer window.
Chiesa is understood to be a target for both Inter and Juventus whilst Premier League pair Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have both also been linked with him.
“I do not know if he will stay in June but I kept my promise of not selling him this past summer. Nobody came to tell me that they wanted to buy Federico,” American-Italian businessman Commisso, who also owns New York Cosmos, remarked in an interview with sports streaming service DAZN earlier on today.
Chiesa, who has spent his entire career with La Viola, is currently under contract with the Florence based club through to the end of the 2021/22 season.
This season he has made 25 appearances across all competitions. In just over 2000 minutes on the field, he has contributed seven goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
