Inter’s packed fixture schedule is causing a headache for Serie A organisers when it comes to trying to find a date to play the match with Sampdoria according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
The match between the Nerazzurri and Blucerchiati was one of four games to be postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus in Italy this past weekend but it is as yet unclear when this match will be re-scheduled for.
Inter remain in the Europa League and are also in the semi finals of the Coppa Italia which complicates things when it comes to dates Inter are available to play.
Inter are due to play the second leg of their semi final with Napoli next Thursday but that match could well be moved to May 13, which is the current date set for the Coppa Italia final, which would then be moved to May 20, if an agreement can be reached.
If this happens, Inter’s match versus Sampdoria could take place next Thursday. Alternatively it could be played on May 20.
