Revenue Inter have earned through sponsorship agreements is down 37% in the first half of this financial year compared to last year according to a report from football finance experts Calcio e Finanza.
In the first six months of the 2018/19 financial year, Inter pocketed a total of €60.7 million from their many sponsorship deals but that figure is down €22.4 million this year with Inter having only collected €38.3 million in revenue from sponsorship deals.
This drop in sponsorship revenue can be attributed to the decrease in revenue that the club have received from sponsorship deals from partners in Asia and the drop still comes despite the fact Inter signed seven new sponsorship deals for this season with the likes of Lenovo and Hugo Boss among others.
By the end of the current financial year, Inter expect to have sponsorship revenues of €75 million which is significantly less than the €130 million the club banked in the last financial year from sponsorships.
