Lukaku Looks Certain To Be The Only Current Inter Striker Who Will Still Be With The Club Next Season

Romelu Lukaku appears destined to be the only striker currently on Inter’s books this season to still be playing for the club next term according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

The 26-year-old Belgian national team player has been in fine form this term having netted 22 goals in 33 appearances across all competitions to date and could find himself with several new players in the attack department next term.

Alexis Sanchez will not be bought outright by Inter therefore the Chilean will return to Manchester United at the end of this season when his loan expires.

Lautaro Martinez has drawn very strong links over a move to Barcelona and it looks highly likely that the 22-year-old will be leaving the Nerazzurri club.

Finally there is teen sensation Sebastiano Esposito. The youngster will be loaned out for next season in order to allow him to have more regular first team minutes to help him in his development.

The report goes on to state that when it comes to replacing Alexis Sanchez, Inter already have two players in mind who could potentially do so in Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud and Napoli’s Dries Mertens.

It will however be far harder to replace Lautaro Martinez, the report warns.
