Marcelo Brozovic and Samir Handanovic have returned to Croatian and Slovenia respectively according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter have allowed the midfielder and goalkeeper to return to their native homelands to be with family amid the ongoing global Coronavirus pandemic whilst everyone else is staying put in Milan.
The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that team have now completed their mandatory self isolation period which they were forced into after Juventus defender Daniele Rugani tested positive for Coronavirus just days after the two clubs faced off.
Inter players are therefore able to go outside whilst following the rules all other citizens have been following in the past few weeks.
Inter will not be returning to training anytime soon and the players are expected to keep up with their personalised training schedules at home as well as their nutritional plans.
