Diego Godin is now back in Milan having spent some time back home with his family in Uruguay according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The experienced centre back was one of seven players who Inter allowed to return home due to the ongoing global Coronavirus pandemic and he is the last of the players to make it back to Milan.
Marcelo Brozovic, Samir Handanovic, Romelu Lukaku, Christian Eriksen, Ashley Young and Victor Moses all also returned home to be with family and all returned to Milan in the past few days.
Godin could well be in his final few months in Milan because as per various reports in the media, he could well leave having really struggled following his arrival on a free transfer this past Summer after his contract with Atletico Madrid expired.
He has been linked with both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in particular.
